This guy still doesn’t allow trading post access. He doesn’t even show a “press F to talk” prompt, the prompts I see when I stand next to him are either from the merchant NPC to Jaklan’s right, or the Seraph guard to his left. Hope this can get fixed soon!
This is a continuing issue as of today. The trading post can not be accessed through this NPC. In fact, there is no way to interact with this NPC at all. This is a bit annoying, and has been broken for almost a month.
This thread has been quiet for quite a while, but the issue remains. About half the time, Jaklan is nonfunctional, which is pretty annoying since the next nearest BL rep is in Shaemoor Village. He’s been braindead for a few days now, interestingly coinciding with Mona’s caravan also being completely broken (she’s stuck in Claypool forever, it seems, and never moves on into Kessex Hills), and both have been this way across at least one patch update.
I’m of the opinion—and it’s totally unfounded as of yet—that if he gets killed by something, he might rez in a broken state. I’m more than happy to get him killed, if he ever starts working again. >:-)
i just started playing this game this npc was working for an hour than all of sudden is bugged i created a new character and he bugged even for him, i’ve logged on and off since than nothing fixes this.. please help..
This one seems to be intermittent. I think he becomes unresponsive when the trading post is attacked by centaurs or he’s distracted by any other mob dragged in by a player. Maybe happens when he’s killed as Kruhljak said.
I’ve seen Mona stuck as well when she’s run off after a wolf into the river and got stuck on scenery. Also, remember, you need both Mona and her seraph guard alive or the pack bull stops. Sometimes they run off and die miles from the bull.

Well, till today he is still broken. No matter how many times or different times i try he still doesn’t do anything. Bit annoying that after 2 years it is still not fixed. I’m not the only one who has it. Playing in the server Ring of Fire.
