Hi,

This bug is present ever since the beta. NPC/enemies on ALL maps are hearable sometimes so loudly as if the NPC/enemy ist standing right by my side. It is a very annoying bug.
I firstly noticed that bug in the beta and I reported it (ingame). I asked friends about it. Everybody confirmed, that this bug is present to them all.

For example the map “TIMBERLINE FALLS”. There is an enemy boss called “Krait Witch”.

If I stay at the waypoint COIL WAYPOINT, I am able to hear her scream as if she would stay right beside me.

And as I said. That not only happens at champions. That is a bug that occurs to enemies and NPCs.

I hope this bug get fixed hopefully soon.

Happend today and on the prevoius days again. Any news?
As I said… this bug is present since the BETA.

Yeah this is really annoying. I’m trying to get things done in the area and she just screams “DESSSTTRRROOYYY” repeatedly at the top of her lungs.

They fixed a similar bug with Champion Infinity Coil Commander in Mount Maelstrom so they can do it here too?

But this bug is not placebound. It happens on EVERY MAP! Even in the singleplayer story. I hear there NPCs who are far far away from me as if the were standing right next to me.

It happens to me today in Caledon (Sylvari Starter Map). With this champion that always shouts (I try to translate german in english): “Prove to me that you are greater as the sun. Face me in another form.”
And no matter where I am, as long as I am close to the water, I hear her as she would be 2 feet away from me. So annoying! WE NEED A FIX!!! PLEASE!!!

Bug still present….

I didn’t think it was a bug, I just thought it was to bring your attention to the fact the event is active, naturally players would seek out the source, and thus it brings people together.

You wanna tell me a loud screaming krait witch in my ears is a feature instead of a bug? To see that there is a event, you have the event log in the upper right. You don’t need a hysterical screaming creature in your ears for that.

And the bug is even present in the story. Sometimes if you are to far away from NPCs, you gonna hear them, right if they would stand next to you.

No I don’t think that is a feature…. and if I’m wrong and it is one…. it’s an annoying one.

SEEMS TO BE FIXED. I was there and it didn’t happened again.
