Consume Conditions does not remove Burning Pitch. Every other class is able to remove this condition with their condition removal abilities, with the exception of this ability. Shouldn’t this ability be able to do so?

Actually the engineer Elixir C can’t remove (convert to boon) that condition either. From what I understand it has to be a straight up condition removal with no extras for it to be removed. So, consume conditions has extras added to the condition removal as does Elixir C so it doesn’t work.

That is hardly the case. There are several abilities from other classes with dual functions that remove conditions as well as performing a heal or damage – aren’t those “extras”? If Elixir C is supposed to convert conditions, then it should work on Burning Pitch as well.

It’s a bug. Skills that convert conditions to something else are not working on burning pitch. I suspect that because it is named differently, the skills were not updated to know how to convert this condition even though it is a burn.

Hide in Shadows (thief) doesn’t cleanse it. As kokocabana says, I suspect this is because it’s a "new" type of burning that none of these skills are coded to handle.

I can confirm that Cleansing Formula 409 and Medkit Antidote works quite well on this burning condition. Strange that Elixir C doesn’t.
