If you play a couple of PvP matches you will quickly notice that your minions are only doing what they are supposed to be doing about 30% of the time. They take FOREVER to get to where you are to engage the enemy even when you weren’t in combat and sometimes they just flat out stop and stand there and never arrive. Even activating their special skills does not get them to reengage after their skill has been used. This is very frustrating when the ability of the minions to siphon health and engage in combat is what make the build work and fun. I am not sure if this a recent issue, but it didn’t seem to be a problem a couple weeks ago. Seems to have only materialized for me after the last patch.

My Flesh Golem stood around doing nothing for like 5 seconds while I was downed, and then it started attacking a different target than me.

Yes. Something in the Feb 4th patch broke melee minion AI again. Ranged minions still function perfectly well, but melee minions often do not attack unless you:

a) Are attacked in melee yourself (ranged attacks on you don’t trigger a response)

b) attack an enemy in melee yourself

c) command the minion to use its skill on the enemy (e.g. Haunt, Charge), after which it will then attack normally.

From observation, it seems that the bug is linked to the melee minions “aggro circle”, which has been greatly reduced in the Feb 4th patch. Enemies that are outside this circle do not get attacked.

i play mm necro mostly in pvp, but there minions are kinda useless now if you attack. (ranged minions too)
50% of times when attacking, minions freeze the moment you cast a weapon skill, and will stay there while you fight … most of the times they stay frozen even after the enemy hits them. Most of the time even minion skills can’t break this ‘idle’ state.

f.e.: Temple of silent storm, if you attack some1 at temple point from left side above the stair, and then jump down, the minions stay, and dont do anything just froze in place, and w8 till the end of time.
