Right now, a necromancer with the Death Nova grandmaster trait from Death Magic will summon a Jagged Horror after every kill, with a 15 second minimum between summoning. The Jagged Horrors die after 20 seconds if they’re not killed.
Nearly every time a necro summons one of these things, their minion summoning speech is triggered. And nearly every time they die, the minion death speech is triggered.
This is annoying! I don’t think you developers intended necromancers to hear the same lines every 20 seconds! I love the Death Nova trait, but this aspect of it has almost ruined it for me. Am I supposed to just accept hearing the same minion summoning and minion death lines over and over again in 20 second intervals while fighting whenever I play this character? It pretty drastically changes the game experience, and it’s not fun.
Please remove the necro’s speech about minions when a Jagged Horror is summoned through the Death Nova trait and when it dies. I have zero issue with minion speech in general, just the fact that it’s repeated over and over in quick succession after applying the Death Nova trait. And that becomes the character’s life. This might be a little more complicated to do on your developer end than just turning something off, and I respect that it might not be as easy a fix as it seems, but please, for the love of your player’s experience, put the work in to erase that feature. You guys don’t want players to listen to that speech every 20 seconds in battle, do you? In dungeons it’s ridiculous!
I love your game, thanks for everything you guys do, but please look at that issue. I’m pretty sure it’s just a simple oversight and unintended experience from you guys.
