Necro pets are useless, make them tougher and dont agro enemies.
The bone fiend hits for a ton, so does the worm and the golem.
Bone fiends are fragile, but can cripple and immobilize, worms deal the most damage and can be used as a teleport beacon, golems… yeah they’re pretty frail for an elite tank, but still contribute well enough.
In case you mean the bone minion, he’s weak and does little damage, but you can sacrifice him for a full-fledged heal with 3 times shorter cooldown then most heals, or keep him around to gain a nice HP income.
Why is this posted here? Its not a bug
@VakarisJ: Maybe they do good damage but they don’t last two hits mate. I’m serious. In a combat with 2 enemies, it dies. To resummon it after every combat, I don’t see the point of this, its really boring, repetitive.
@BCDragon: I’ve put it in bugs, because that just can’t be intentional that they agro and die that fast. They need a fix, not a “feature change”.
So? you think a warrior would last 2 hits when he stand too close in high tier?
Use your mechanics correctly.
Aswell as seeing Mesmers aren’t optimum in pve on higher levels, where as necromancers are fine but use a different build.
Hunter pets wouln’t last either, they’re just clean cannon fodder.
A mesmer doesn’t have the option.
Neither do i see any complaints about that. =/
This shouln’t be here, and he’s right.
Put it into the specific Class forum.
Edit:
Another benefit of doing so is; if you put it into the class forum.
People will be ableto help you learn ways to counteract with it.
This is what has been said before aswell instead of screaming for nerfs or buffs.

My point exactly. Thats not a good mechanic, if the pet supposed to die in a battle vs. 2-3 monsters. This is not a good mechanic for a pet system. Let the pet have a chance to live through a 10sec battle seriously!
necromancers are fine but use a different build.
Then you just saying don’t use the pets if they are crap (like everyone else I spoken to?). Another reason why this is really broken, if you cant use it or its annoying then it need to be addressed.

I disagree, my pet nicely lives through a huge battle, sure I have to heal it but at least I have a chance to heal it up properly. With necro the only option to heal is with the spells like staff spells and those are not able to outheal the incoming dmg on them either. They die either way.
Besides its really not a hunter pet to start with, so I shouldn’t heal demonic minions, because they are fragile. Ok I get it, bone minions are for easy sacrification and I use it too that way. But Blood Fiend and Bone Fiend just dies from two bigger hits [since they agro every stupid enemy I attack]. I want the enemy to attack me not my pets, they supposed to be dps pets not tank pets isn’t it?

Then you’re doing something wrong. I haven’t had a problem with the bone fiend dying. I keep back and the bone minions go in and blow em up.
Necro minions aren’t really made to last forever – if you’re resummoning somewhat regularly you’re doing it right, especially if it coincides approximately with cooldown. And all pets/summons agro – Thieves Guild and trap thief summons always agro everything around. I don’t know if hunter pets do or don’t, I haven’t used any.
If they aren’t surviving long enough, try taking on smaller mobs. You’ll also understand the profession better the more you use it and experiment with traits, which will help, and you’ll have much tougher pets later on. They’re SUPPOSED to be temporary. “It started out as a corpse, and now it’s a corpse again” after all. You’re only level 15, give it a bit more time.
Your pet lasts on Explorer mode end tier?
I don’t mind you arguing with it, but that’s just a total lie or you didn’t get to it yet.
Sure if you take a bear or pop a enduring.
But even when that doesn’t work and it gets popped on as target it won’t matter as much.
You can recall it as much as you want.
SO before you start to neglect the fact that unless you take a bear in explorable mode he ’’WILL’’ blow up.
Besides i was trying to point out that it shouln’t belong here.
