The search function for the forums is absolutely terrible. Please just give me a text only or non flash option so I can actually use the search function.

The search has never worked for anyone (well it worked for a short time after one of the updates but then it stopped working pretty soon after). As far as I know it is an issue with the backend database indexes.

Yes, it has been confirmed that search is broken and no one there have the tools to fix it at them moment (forum is a third part software with no support anymore). They have said they are planning to change forums at some point but no date for it yet. Also, as far as I can tell the forums never had any thing related with flash, what you see when searching is just another technology (AJAX for those familiar with it).
