Guild Wars 2

So, for Nevermore Tier 4, there are some items that you have to get from completing Fractals (I.E Phantom Residue, Ancient Grawl Text, etc), then after you find them, have to go “Place them to rest” at certain area’s in Tyria. Well, me being the smart person I am, while I was cleaning my inventory I accidentally deleted the Ancient Svanir Relic from my bag. Thinking “No big deal!” later on….I went to go re-purchase from the Legendary vendor guy in Lion’s Arch (you know…where you click the “I lost a vital piece to my collection” or whatever)…well….I can’t re-buy it. I have re-done the fractal at least 8 times now and have not gotten it to drop again. Please tell me its just a bug that I cannot re-buy it? Or how am I supposed to get this again because I have a feeling that I can’t possibly just have the worst luck doing the fractal 8 times again and not getting it to drop

You should contact support directly. They might be able to replace the item for you.

Ever get it fixed? I’m in the same boat and just finished putting in a Bug report, can’t re-buy or loot another.

Okay I did this exact thing on accident. You can fix this. So far I threw out like all the fractal items (plus SB item) and only one appears to be bought again for karma from the vender. I panicked at first. However you either have to redo the fractal and get the item again OR just do whatever it tells you to do without the item and it still works OR you can buy the item from the guy with karma. It’s not consistent and can be any one of these three things. So far I’ve been able to do everything. I haven’t checked the item from SB yet but all the fractal items I was able to do the “second” step with by doing one of those three things. If anyone finds an exception let me know. It took me awhile to figure out you could just simply do this without the item and it still works such as with the item from savinar fractal and taking it to the Jora statue. I clicked on the statue without the item and it still worked.

However this is still a bug regardless. You shouldn’t have to go back a redo these things. It’s silly the other tiers did not require you holding onto items like this and honestly I was tired when I did these and did not read through each one (there are quite a lot). I just felt like doing some fractals and getting that out of the way. Then later had inventory issues and threw the items out. So this really needs fixed.
