Guild Wars 2

I’m not sure if this is a new thing to GW2, but i made a new character and for some reason its not allowing the My Story quest to start up. Ive completed the story arc with another character of the same race, but this one is a new class. Aside from the opening scene of the game, can i not do these quests with a brand new character or is this simply a bug?

Story arcs are set to be played at 10-level increments. First arc starts at L10, second arc at L20, etc.

Is your character L10 or more?

ah that must be it! This ones a level 2 right now, brand new.

Yay, du…. NPE strikes again!

Yeah, since around 1 year ago with the NPE thing the story arcs are now unlocked at each 10 levels, you won’t see the next step until are the “appropriated” level. You can play the next step only when the game “thinks” you are ready for it. >.>
