I’ve noticed that the Upgrade Slot on the new crafted backpacks, more specifically, the level 78 exotic ones – you can’t put any type of upgrade in them, aside from infusions. There is a normal upgrade slot and an infusion slot.

I’ve tried crests and raw gems with no luck in getting it to stick into the slot. Please advise.

You can put in level 65 exquisite jewels for example .. only level 80 doesn’t work because the item is lvl 78.

yeah there is another thread about it, someone actually compared stats and the 65 exquisite gem will actually take the stats to higher then the lvl 80 exotic back items currently available

Put an embellished level 65 jewel in it and the stats will be equal to an exotic karma backpice with an exquisite jewel in it, the main stat even higher.
