Additional recipes for ascended back-item pieces have been added to the Mystic Forge for players who don’t play the fractals.
All of the ascended back-item pieces that required 1 vial of Condensed Mists Essence can now be forged with Bloodstone Dust instead.
A total of eight recipes have been added.

-This does not work for the ascended backpiece “There with Yakkington: A Traveler’s Tale”. The original recipe was 40 crystals, 50 globs of ecto, 250 vicious claws and 1 vial of condensed mist essence. It does not work when trying to replace the mist essence with any amount of bloodstone dust

A really good question. Still not working.
Didn’t have enough claws the day before the patch and didn’t want to buy them from the TP. If I had known before the patch that the recipe won’t work anymore i would have crafted it right before the patch and would now be another happy user with an ascended back item with knight or rabid stats … the freedom to chose the stat combination was the reason why i collected items for it …

Recipe with vial of condensed mist seems to work today but I’m still missing ~100 claws ^^
