Upon taking my Tempest to the new “Captain Kiel’s Office” POI in Lion’s Arch, I was greeted with the 1st attached screenshot.

The 2nd attached screenshot shows the ID numbers of the chests.

I received 4 of these map reward chests, each with a Chest of Elementalist’s Gear, and with different map ID numbers on them.

Because my Tempest is my only character with full (all currently available maps) map completion, I decided to see if that had anything to do with it, and went on my Reaper. I got the POI and nothing popped up.

All 6 of my characters had full Lion’s Arch completion before the patch, but only my Tempest had map completion.

In addition, I have pre-purchased PoF.

Also the proud owner of 4 boxes of nothing that can’t be used and don’t stack and take up 4 spaces in my inventory.

Could someone at the very least let us know that if we get rid of this junk, if there is some reward we were supposed to get, we will get it appropriately in the future?

Also received a few things and using a salvage all option without thinking(having done other events and needing to clear up space like normally playing), these items in the inventory, some were broken down. Not sure what I am meant to do with it though, destroy, wait, what?

Same thing happened to me on my Reaper, who already had map completion- got awarded map completion xp 4 times, + 4 chests of necromancer gear with these numbers- [[⁸³⁰⁰⁶⁶]] [[⁸²⁹⁹⁰⁰]] [[⁸²⁶⁴⁵⁰]] [[⁸²⁹⁷⁰⁸]]
Trying to open them results in “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.”

Same thing, but I got no chests what so ever. Guess that’s progress.

I got that bug as well. However there was only about 8k worth of experience in each chest and nothing more.

Same here. Got 4 chests above my mini-map with just experience in each of them. Could it be because I started playing and got the POI before the client fully updated?

The same issue for me as i only got chests of experience and nothing else. someone i talked to got some new skins and “eyes of Kormir”. so i must have gotten a bad bug as no rewards for me….

Proof that this is the case I got a hammer and a torch. (the other will be posted in a moment)

Heres the hammer.

I got only bugged Elmentalist gear boxes with the numbers on them and the 8001 exp in each blue bouncy box. I destroyed the chests after the patch, as I still couldn’t open them.
I Went back to LA and got nothing for going back.

What do we do with the boxes if we cant open them, would be nice if Anet would give a confirmation about them, so we can trash them or not.
