New patch makes me crash
Yah ditto so far each toon I have tried game crashes immediately
same problem here as soon as i try to load a map the game crashes

Same here. Every character, irrelevant of the location that I’m logging into.
This world needs more people being frank and less people being offended.

All the memory reading DPS meters are at risk of crashing after any and all patches to the game — they literally hack into the GW2 client and poke around internal structures to get the data they want.
If you don’t have a post-patch updated version of the meter, but do get a crash, disable or uninstall the meter and see if it reproduces. Odds are, it won’t.
Thanks for linking me here, I posted elsewhere with how I got in. Just to make it more clear there was also an update to the character select screen this patch. Usually Arc + BGDM caused crashes earlier for me so just incase try to simply delete your Bin and Bin64 folders, which you can locate wherever you have guildwars saved. This will delete any addons you have installed and force the game to download fresh copies of the DLL’s. Also so you don’t miss anything.
