The last couple of days, i finally hit level 80 on my Elementalist, and i couldnt be happier. Except for one thing. When i go to cursed shore, and i gather and fight reisen, you are supposed to have heavy moldy bags drop, and i have got next to none. I have been running these events for around an hour, and i did not get a single heavy moldy bag, and i know you should get at least some. I dont know if this is a bug, if im doing something wrong or what and i would love to be informed if im incorrect thanks!

I am afraid that would not be a forum or website bug. Maybe just some really pesky RNG. Also, you may have encountered DR. Good luck.

The main reasons why you aren’t receiving any drops is because:

1. You did not deal enough damage to receive credit for the drop.
2. Bad RNG https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/What-is-RNG
3. As stated above DR http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Diminishing_returns

Now option 1 and 3 can be countered but, sadly there is no way to help bad RNG besides a bit of magic find that can help you a little go to the link to see how you can obtain magic find (Luck, Boosters, Food) http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic_find.

The way to solve option 1 is quite simple go enter a party when you are doing large scale events this reduces the amount of damage you have to deal to receive credit for killing a mob.

To solve DR related problems with loot it’s a little bit more vague.
You can solve this problem by going to a different map and go play there a bit.

‘’Dynamic Events use a DR system in order to limit players from excessively farming one area. DR is character specific, and switching between characters will bypass the effects of DR. DR is not event specific, but rather area specific. It is designed to prevent congestion in one particular map, and to discourage illegal activities such as botting. DR triggers after the player passes a set limit of events, usually after a player has cycled through events on a map for over three hours. Potential rewards are reduced dramatically right after the player bypasses the limit.’’ – Source Gw2 Wiki
