Guild Wars 2

So I ran into a problem on my Norn Warrior in that I do not get any rewards upon successfully completing the discovery of a map. It originally happened with Lornar’s Pass, and then with Divinity’s Reach. I had assumed it is because this character was made within the first month that I purchased Guild Wars 2, and I only played for a few weeks until I started playing him again recently (it’s been about 2 years later, with me playing him rarely every several months). I finished discovering both of these areas and neither of them gave me a chest nor any extra experience points. I tried to take screenshots for Divinity’s Reach, but there isn’t much because I didn’t expect it to happen to me twice. Also, because of this glitch I had decided to try it on my Sylvari whom was made relatively soon after my Norn, and I was able to get the completion bonus with him.

However, upon playing for the past few days I have noticed items do not stack and it also appears to be because some of them are older, while some of them are newer. Items that were in my Bank from back when I played 2 years ago do not stack with newer items that I have acquired, even though they are the exact same items. My Black Lion Salvaging Kits, Basic Salvaging Kits and Experience Scrolls do not stack whatsoever. I know Experience Scrolls can stack because I had two of them stack previously, but I have since used 1 of them so I cannot show this. I also provided screenshots of me stacking Transmutation Charges to show that I do indeed know how to put items together, just for people that do not believe me.

Normally, I wouldn’t care about this item issue, but because this game has such incredibly limited banking space it has certainly become an annoyance for me. The discovering glitch is also quite an annoyance because it has essentially made Map Completion worthless on my Norn, which is my oldest and highest leveled character. Potential fixes would be greatly appreciated because I have bee thoroughly enjoying this game again and these flaws have been putting a bitter taste in my mouth.

Salvage kits have never stacked.

As for your map completion problems, it’s most likely you already finished those maps before leaving the game. New points of interest and waypoints have been added to various maps since launch, and DR and Lornar’s Pass are two maps that received some of those. So, you can’t get the completion rewards twice.

Edit: I confused the skill point scrolls with the experience scrolls. In the case of the experience scrolls you mention, yes, there is a weird bug that doesn’t allow the first year’s birthday gifts of experience scrolls to stack with the second year’s.
