I was under the impression Anet was going to address this depressing drop in world loot. Vets/Champs/mob drops are already below what they were before the November patch. I read somewhere (can’t find that thread at the moment) that Anet was aware of this and said they would be fixing that inadvertent adjustment.

I was playing all the way up to the patch yesterday, however, when I got back in and started my usual daily run to finish my dailies, I still did not get any improvement in drops. Most of the Vets/Champ/mobs I fought in the Fields of Ruin just did not drop much loot worth anything at all.

We did the presents and all I got was socks and sweaters. Nothing else. Lots of trophy bones and trophy flowers but not anything worth the effort we put into the run.

I read where the patch notes said they increased the rare and exotic drop rates, however, that is clearly the exact opposite of what actually happened.

Please address the abysmal loot drops. I am not happy with the way all this has been handled at all.

They never said they were going to fix it. They never acknowledged that it was a problem. All they promised was that they would “look into it”.

Okay, how long do they need to look into it? :-)

3) Veteran and Champions are buggy. They need to be fixed. Everything else working as intended.

We just took down the Ancient Karka Champion in Southsun. Loot drop was 1 level 77 Blue Carrion Pirate Glove and 1 Vial of Potent Blood.

We took out several veterans on our way into get the Champion and all I got was 1 vial of potent blood and nothing else.

This is an abysmal outcome when before Nov patch we got better drops. When they said they would increase the drops, they nerffed the drops instead.

I am not pleased with how they seem to be going backwards not forwards.

More often these days I just bypass all the major events, veterans, champions and heavy duty mobs to just run around with friends. Even dungeons are not worth the effort any longer because the loot drops in the game now are not worth the effort.

Late this evening I went to engage in the Claw of Jormag dragon fight. To say it was bugged is an understatement. Ice walls appeared to be spawning underground so we were unable to target them. AOEs sometime worked but not always.

It took us a lot longer to take this event down than normal and tab targeting to acquire targets seem to only work on the poor white moas down the hill or the few vet ice mobs that spawned at the weapon hill.

However, we all engaged in this activity hoping the loot had been adjusted with this patch. The loot we finally got was pathetically poor. Loot throughout the world of Tyria seems to have been reduced since the November patch and contrary to what I read on the forums, was never adjusted once the problem came to light.

Agreed, if they cared even half an ounce about their players they should say something.

I also wish to add to this thread that if you want to go down to Southsun to do a little farming, you will be disappointed.

Several of my guild mates and I went down there late yesterday after the patch hit. We were hoping the loot drops had been fixed so that we could farm for at least an hour to pick up some much needed mats for crafting. Also we hoped to pick up some gear or weapons to help gear out some of our guild mates. or sell to make a little coin to help reach required gold level for legendary weapons.

For all our efforts we were sadly disappointed. I got a few mid level 70 pieces of gear (blue gloves, white boots, green hat), some spiral shells, and about 4 karka shells all total for the hour.

Obviously, loot drops were not fixed.

I have yet to see a rare again, the infamous grinch is in town keeping us from getting globs, and he’s in their offices over there. (points at Anet’s doors)

they did add some T6 items to bags you get from various Orrian Risen and Svanir in the north. They dropped some powerful blood and scales for me tonight right off the bat. Out of ten bags there were 3 items total.

My condolences, sir, on your luck. It appears we are in the same boat.
