No chepoint in Winter Wonderland
It was most likely done on purpose. If you notice, they modified the map. When you entered the map, characters used to be placed in a generic armor. Also, the end area of the jumping puzzle is different. It used to be a lot larger with a cliff you could explore that had an area with an invisible teleport back to the beginning of the map. Of course this was either unintentional or only there originally for testing purposes.
Now, this “improved” version has a bug where characters will randomly (rarely) get knocked down for no reason consistently for about 20 seconds…and it’s possible to get partially stuck between a surface under the end area and the actual ground you’re meant to walk on, causing your character to seemingly rubber-band when walking towards the chest. This is most likely do to overlapping surfaces. The effect will go away as soon as you are teleported back to the start.
