It turned out to be a big problem when a friend somehow put the Refresh Rate higher than what his monitor could support(He claims that he put 170 Hz). I don’t know how he did it since my monitor can only reach 60 Hz and ingame I can only set it to 60.
After he done that, his game closed and when he tries to enter, it keep saying: “Entrance not supported” and now he is reinstalling GW2 and I will only be able to play tomorrow.
For emergencies like that, it’s good to have configurable settings on the launcher or in the directory of the game.
Gameplay Programmer
Running the game with -windowed will allow you to launch it in windowed mode, overriding any resolution or refresh rate settings.
Additionally you can delete the Local.dat file located in “C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Guild Wars 2” which contains all graphics settings.
