Did level 50 fractal before the patch and now did level 40 after the patch and didn’t get a daily chest from it.

This is pretty gamebreaking for fractals and definitely needs a fix!

Can confirm, our entire party didnt get a daily chest.

Just finished lvl 20, no daily reward chest. Both have been on Jade Maw

Lvl 1, no daily reward chest with last fractal, Molten Duo.
Doesn’t seem like the end fractal is a common denominator

Just finished a lv 38, no daily chest either. Never done a tier 30-40 tonight.

Did 29, Mai Trin, no chest.

Level 30 and no reward either!

Same for lvl 10. I think this doesn’t for all or maybe some1 got daily reward today?

It is pretty clear that the daily bug is involved with the new daily rewards system since only levels 1-40 are affected by this and these are the same levels that have daily tasks related to them as datamined on reddit.

Fractals
Daily Fractal Boss Defeat the Jade Maw, Captain Mai Trin, or the Molten Berserker and Molten Firestorm in the Fractals of the Mists through the portal in Lion’s Arch.
Daily Scale 1–10 Fractal Complete a set of four fractals on a single difficulty level between 11 and 20 inside the Fractals of the Mists through the portal in Lion’s Arch.
Daily Scale 21–30 Fractal Complete a set of four fractals on a single difficulty level between 21 and 30 inside the Fractals of the Mists through the portal in Lion’s Arch.
Daily Scale 31–40 Fractal Complete a set of four fractals on a single difficulty level between 31 and 40 inside the Fractals of the Mists through the portal in Lion’s Arch.

I also did not receive fractal daily. I did a lvl 5 fractal, and ended with jade maw.
This was the first fractal of the day. My last fractal that I participated in was over 24 hours ago. I was not the only individual in my party that did not receive the chest after the fractal was finished; none of us received the chest. I’d assume it was my party members first run for the day, since they intended to get the daily chest.

We ran Swampland → Snowblind → Thaumanova Reactor → Molten Boss Fractal

We finished level 50 before the patch and went for level 40 after. We got rewards normally for 50 but no one got daily for level 40.

Did 50 before patch (but my reward was 46). After patch we did 30 and nobody in my party (same as before) got the daily chest.

I demand a fractal dagger because I DEF would have gotten it this run

Same, since they’re no longer giving us daily reward chests anymore, the only way I’m ever going to get my sword is by request…
I just KNOW that level 40 daily chest contained my 2-year-long awaited Fractal Sword. I expect to see it in my mail by morning, A-net! Please?

Hey Gaile, while they fix these chests can you have them look into the drop rate of the Fractal Tonic and the Fractal Weapon Box?

- First of the day, finished just after midnight. Didn’t run yesterday at all (although I started this one at about 11pm or so).

- The two people in my guild who are at personal reward level 50 both received a chest.
- Yes?
- I was only at personal reward level 34 so I should have received the tier 3 reward chest, which would therefore presumably be affected by the bug.

Ok. Just did a 50 and a 20 after reset. Got both fractal daily chests, and the new bonus daily for the 11-20 tier. Can someone else confirm this was a weird interaction with the new dailies?

EDIT: Just read Evan’s post. WTF is going on? How did I get my 20 daily chest if the problem isn’t fixed?

The bug doesn’t apply everytime and in my case 3/5 people got their daily chest. Noone said that you don’t get any rewards anymore, there is just a bug which denies many people their daily reward chest from fractal levels 1-49. When you get every single chest you don’t need to worry about this threat^^

Wow, theyre actually going to dust off the fractal repo and take a look at the code. I bet they havnt seen that code in over a year. This fix is going to be a while since the devs who coded it dont even work their anymore its been so long. They all died of old age.

I ran a 11-20 tier fractal while having an active Daily Scale 11-20 Fractal daily and was able to obtain the bonus chest from that fractal as well.

Although I have not ran 1-10, 21-30, 31-40, or 41-49, it seems like no one is getting bonus chests from these tiers. However, people are getting chests from scale 50. My guess is that the issue is due to the coding of the new dailies that involve running fractals of a particular scale.

Edit: I just ran 1-10, did not receive daily chest.

Edit: I was sure I was going to get a zojja’s ascended weapon chest for each of the fractal tiers I was eligible to do

got my 30 fractals complete ap point though, so I know I completed it.

- my personal raised to 10 after the run so I know I “finished” it.

Don’t worry, you would have gotten a ring

- Did lvl 16, personal level 1
- first fractal after reset
- no daily chest nor daily achievement (level 11-20)
- 4 out of 5 people in team got the daily chest (me being 5th did not)

lvl 29: No chest for me or anyone else. Many tears were shed.
My second frac after reset, the first one being lvl 50, for which I received a chest

- no chest at fratcal lvl 19
- we we’re stuck at the 3th fractal (Thaumanova Reactor Fractal) after we killed the boss we didn’t teleport to the chest and we couldn’t reach it. Also we didn’t get the popup to go to the last fractal
- we had the swamp and snowblind fractal before

I just completed lv 36 daily after i did lv 19 earlier in the day and the bonus for rank 31-41 did not drop, this bug need to be fixed fast. its bad enuff the skin drop rates are terrible now this annoying nonsence.

Just hoping you fix this before you go to chrismas vacations.
And when you are just dealing with fractal rewards, you can aswell increase the gold reward, since it’s pretty low compared to dungeons.

Did a lvl 20 last night for the daily, got the bonus. Did a level 40 today, no bonus chest.

Not to get the daily chest renders fotm pointless.
Fix this.
Getting the the not spawned daily bonus chest(s) at next login, after fix has been rolled out, would be appreciated.

I’m curious if we could get an update. As many Fractal runners do daily Frac runs, we’d appreciate to know when we can return to our regular Frac schedules.

Also do we know what “safe” Fractal levels are to run? A daily Frac50 worked fine yesterday after reset (we skipped our usual Frac40 followup run due to knowing about this bug). I’ve heard a rumour that the Frac tier associated with the daily achievements is also safe from this no-chest bug, is this rumour true?

If not an update, perhaps some kind of message in game to people that explicitly warns them not to waste their time. Most of the playerbase doesn’t check the forums.
