Guild Wars 2

I’ve bought a new headset (razer kraken usb) and for some reason guild wars 2 have no sound, the game even reconize the headset but nothing happens.

Chances are, the headset imitates surround sound, and Guild Wars 2 will lose audio if it switches from one sound device to another that has a different number of audio channels. Have you tried restarting GW2 with the headset plugged in?

Yes, several time and changing the usb ports.

have you made sure that the windows sound mixer has the volume turned up for your headset?

(right click on volume control in system tray, choose open volume mixer, switch it to show your headset and check its master volume + volumes for everything sending to it)

Everything is working fine out of the game.

when you open the mixer for your headset you should also see individual volume controls for each application sending audio to your headset, make sure the gw2 one is turned up… and if you’re not seeing a send from gw2 then you aren’t send anything to it (make sure gw is open at the time otherwise it’s send wont show up)
