I posted this in in General Discussion but I figured it could very well be a bug so I’m reporting.

I remember Strawberry Ghosts used to turn your character into a ghostly figure and the Candy Corn Almond Brittles turning you into a Candy Corn Elemental.
However since the Wintersday update they only yield normal food effects without any cosmetic effect. Was this removed intentionally or is it a bug?
If intentional, can those effects be restored? Thank you very much.

I’m not using the B word or I’ll get infracted. But I repeat, can anyone else confirm this? I really would like those food visual effects back…

the transforms are random, sometimes you get transformed sometimes not

I get transformed all the time using the spiced pumpkin cookies. Haven’t used the other ones.

Same, I get transformed every time I use any halloween food.

So this happens only to me? I’ve used over 25 Strawberry Ghosts within today and yesterday and I haven’t gained even once the ghost appearance on my characters. :S
Seems a bit weird…

Well, after using about 5 more it worked. Guess I was just getting unlucky? I didn’t know there was actually a chance and however I remember the effect used to kick in more frequently and last longer.
I wish it could be made a permanent visual effect for the whole duration of the candy food effect.
