Guild Wars 2

Have been crafting for ages now and the other day was told that you should get xp for your overall level not just your crafting level. I have never got any xp for my main level only for craft. Pretty annoying as obviously I’ve spent a fair amount of money and materials levelling my crafting! Anyone else with a similar problem?

Maybe dumb question: but are you sure you’re crafting stuff that isn’t gray? If the name of the crafted item is gray, you won’t get a skill up and therefore won’t get XP.

You also get way more XP for discoveries. Make just one of each component, discover things with it, and repeat. The orange items in your crafting list get you the most xp.

Yes I know you have to craft the coloured items if i want any xp. Thanks for the reply though
And to Donari, the problem isnt getting small amounts of xp its NONE at all again though thanks for the reply

I have a confession to make… I lied pretty much! A friend suggested I craft in bulk as previously i have made only 1 or 2 items at a time and have seen no progress and it worked! sorry to be so stupid and waste you time guys
