Guild Wars 2

Hello!

I have no idea as to what causes this, but whenever I play GW2. There is something I guess could be called “static noise”. It’s a little noise that’s in the background. It might just be me who have a good hearing, but it’s there, atleast for me. I don’t have this noise in any other games or places than here in GW2 : / So It’s gotta be something with this game, I guess?

Any info on this? And how to fix it? :S

Extra info: I have a Logitech G930 headset. Tell me if you need stuff like a dxdiag report, that I know some of you guys like.

My G930 has the same problem with this game. Works nicely in bf3, but in GW2 there are little pops and scratches every 30 seconds.

have you tried increasing the sound latency in the sound options?

MY GOD YES. And it is the single most annoying thing ever.

Sounds like 2 pieces of wood being clapped together really loud.

maybe its only a headset thing using an oldish soundblaster with 5.1 surround speakers i dont hear any static, i do hear a engine noise in the swamp in the human place tho

Yes i have the same problem, i think that is connected to buffer size.
