Nord Storyline Quest Glitched

For some reason, when attempting to do the “One Good Drink Deserves Another” Storyline Quest for Nords, after getting the 3 Sons of Svanir drunk, and then releasing the Minotaurs from the pen, the Son of Svanir that warns the camp that the Minotaurs are escaping does not change from green to red, preventing me from attacking and killing him. Because I cannot defeat him, the “Defeat the Sons of Svanir” event of the Storyline Quest becomes impossible to complete.
