Guild Wars 2

Hey, there are many players on Sorrow’s Furnace which have made new Norn characters that can not get out of the tutorial zone. The gate to the worm battle bugged shut, preventing any character progression.

I’ve /map told people to try “guesting” to another world to finish their tutorial, bypassing the bug, but who knows if people listened or knew how to do it.

Bugged for Darkhaven too.

Also bugged for Maguuma. It’s my first time playing Guild Wars 2 and I started as a Norn in Sorrow’s Furnance 2 days ago and after an hour of it being bugged I stopped. Today I tried guesting to Maguuma and it was bugged there too.

That’s sad to hear you had to face this bug in your first playtime. If I could suggest I would tell you to not give up the game yet, if you feel doing so try to make another char of another race and you will be able to explore the game some more. There are a lot to see past that “gate”.

I just got back on Sea of Sorrows for one last attempt before making a new character and the gates were open!
