Just rolled a norn toon, killed a vet, heading to kill the Issamir, just realized the gate to the battle area is closed, waited for like 10 mins with a bunch of people. After killing random flies at the bottom of the staircase to kill time, the gate still won’t open. So we are stuck at the gate, hoping some day, some time Eir will open the gate for us to craft our legend.

Yes, I know there is a chance that people is killing Issamir at that moment, but what if, what if he’s a troll and went afk after triggering the Issamir fight, since you can’t be killed at lvl 1 after anet revamped the whole leveling system. I heard ppl bypass this ‘bug’ by guesting the other server, but after anet applied the mega server system to the starting area, it is no longer a option.

Precursor crafting isn’t implemented yet, you’ll have to wait for HoT.

I’m sitting here at the gate, waiting for it to open. The nearby event won’t resolve either.

Guesting is still an option, though not as viable as it once was.

Is there a specific world we need to guest into? I’ve been entering the same instance no matter what.

Nah…the whole point is to attempt to get into a different IP. Now with Tutorials being part of the Megaserver, it’s rather RNG.

Still, worth a shot and better than just sitting waiting. /shrug

Just guest to other server. I just tried it and the instance is fixed
