I just did a level 2 fractal for the achievement for living story and a guildmate and I decided we wanted the “Fancy Footwork” achievement. so we both stood still the entire time while the rest of the party was doing the wisps.

We both didn’t trigger a single trap and at the end of the fractal he did get the achievement however, I did not.

I’m 100% sure I did not trigger a singel trap.

When is this gettig fixed?

You have to do it while holding an orb. I don’t see how he could’ve gotten it unless he had it already.

This happened to me, too. Sometimes it is bugged to the point that if anyone in your TEAM hits a trap, you do not get the achievement.

It took me a very, very long time to get this achievement. I’m pretty sure it’s still bugged, too. Try zooming in and paying extreme attention to the traps on the ground. I’m not sure how I got the achievement, but I know I did not touch any of the orbs. It is not necessary to do so.

Also, try Mesmer portals. Sometimes it works.

Same here although that was mostly unintentional. The other people in the party were more experienced with fractals and they just ran to the orbs, usually we have a little discussion on who does it.

The other things in that area that can attack/damage you might also count as traps.

Additional details: We were doing a scale 18 fractal but my personal levels was 8 or 9. The “path” we got was Bloomhunger.
