Guild Wars 2

So I did the “Ambassador’s Aid” achievement and wasn’t given a “Boot Requisition Order” as reward but I WAS granted the achievement and the points along with it.. There is no way I would have destroyed it or something like that as it is the only piece of Carapace Armour my character now requires. Any ideas? I really wanted to get the boots without grinding for it, but now it looks that way despite working towards something I did not receive. A resolution to my problem would be most welcome, thanks in advance.

I take it that the vendor doesn’t give you the option to buy the boots?
