Guild Wars 2

The gear shaped zip pads in the Not So Secret jump puzzle in Gendarran Fields have started to throw much harder than previously. The first one in the puzzle can be handled by aiming at the wall to the left of the second one and bouncing off it to stop. The major problem occurs with the first one after the path splits to go to the dive platform. In the past the gear throw would be just enough to land on the next platform either on or next to the next gear (assuming you were facing the correct direction!). Recently I go sailing over the second platform. Any hints?

Agree i got the same issue thus cannot finish the achievemnt, it is much stronger now.

By the look of things the pads has made them into leaping attacks which tends to overshoot you all the time which makes getting to the goggles for very hard since most of the times i fly right over the next pad and then weeee all the way down

You can break the leap by swapping weapon in mid flight.
Not sure if they intended it to be done this way, it was fine before and still challenging
enough without having to swap weapon.
