Not sure if this is a bug or we’re not supposed to be able to level Masteries in Silverwastes but I’ve been there for the past 5 days farming Bandits for Twilight collection and not once did my bar ever move. I gained tons of what seemed like experience but the bar just never progressed forward.

Did you check to make sure a mastery was selected? I know I’ve done that a couple times.

Just remember, Silverwastes contributes to “Tyria” masteries not Maguma.

I’ve always assumed that it’s a neutral area.. ‘cos it hasn’t contributed any mastery exp.

Yes, masteries are selected.

Edit: and yes, I know it should go towards Tyria masteries, however, it doesn’t.

This issue seems to have been addressed in one of the last updates as my character started gaining XP the last time I went.
