I have had nothing but trouble with living story achievements lately. I have been playing catch up lately with living story content that I have not done yet. Three days ago I went to do the “Butterflies and Viscera” achievement from the Entanglement Chapter of living story, and though my other guildmate, who also needed said achievement got the achievement, I did not despite being the instance starter. I reported the bug, but have not heard back on what is happening. Today I went in with three others guildies to do the Exposed Weakness: Redux achievement and having a flawless fight were no boons were transfered I was again denied credit for the achievement. This is not the first period of time were credit has not been given for achievements which I know I have accomplished. Still, not getting back to the players is a sure way to alienate people from the game. Is there anyone else having this issue, and how do I get it fixed. I have a bug report of both instances, but have not heard anything yet, just wondering what I can expect, because this is not a good thing to put players through.

This is a rather obvious question but I have to ask, you did the living story itself to unlock the ability to get the achivements right?

It seems like he didn’t do the living story missions before which means he didn’t get the option to get the achievements. At least how he describes the issue would indicate that.

This is inconsistent at best. After going through some of the living stories on my main character, I’ve gotten some of of the achievements the first time through on one of my alts.

Were you doing this with other people and not getting credit but they did? This is the “bug” OP is describing.

There are bugs with the achievements. But you can’t just put a general label on all achivements its not going to fix them. You need to break down which ones they are and what is happening for you to not get the achivement. If you do that you may find its not a bug at all for instance Exposed Weakness Redux if you are a guardian you will have trouble getting this achievement because of aegis poping up on yourself at like every 10 seconds.

THOSE are the achievements that are bugged ;D

I got the Dark Mirror achievement on a first playthrough.
