As title says, I go in with full zerker gear, pop potions, food buffs even ambers, pet whistles and NADA… Kinda disappointing when someone I rezzed after the fight loots an ascended material….

Same, I can do constant dps from full to zero along with the zerg and it still doesn’t tag the mob, despite getting gold in the event itself. I’m a full zerk mesmer as well, so I’m pretty heavy on damage and I still don’t do enough I guess? This also happens a lot with karka queen if there’s a lot of people there. Getting event credit but no credit for killing the mob if there’s a full zerg there.

last run I had 3 chests from all 3 bosses, next one i looted only one, what’s weird is that i didn’t get loot from a boss while my friend (in my party) got one.

Before the patch I was getting maybe out of one of the three boss rewards after doing all three. After patch its been nada. Been partied up and also not and pretty sure I have been getting my hits in and doesn’t seem to matter. Also getting nada for the sundry bosses that have been spawning as well. Not sure if it is a bug but I usually get loot even when zerging so I find it unusual.

My wife also received no loot from these bosses, and she was so upset by it that she complained enough to motivate me to find this thread and post in it.
But now the hologram’s gone invulnerable for about 10 minutes (and counting), so she’s pretty mad.
I haven’t gotten to try the event yet; I was called away just as it was starting.

Same. No loot. All three Legendaries, never downed, no loot. Even though other people who spent MOST of the time downed GOT loot. Sigh…

Likewise. Got Gold on all three events, no chest, no loot. Spent all three entire battles dealing non-stop damage.

Annoying and discouraging.

Same talked a friend into coming back to GW2 for the event, and brought him thru to kill the Knights (for the 5 boxes each) and also Scarlet Holo fight. None of the champs gave loot for either of us and I’m a zerker ele and he is a zerker thief. Constant dps, no downs. Scarlet Holo bugged at about 25% and never split. This was AFTER the fix. =/
So why no tags on knights? I mean, after 33% HP I’m constantly hitting 9k,9k,9k,10k,9k. As well as my friend. If that’s not enough dps, what is? lol

I got boxes on two of the knights but not on the last one, and a friend of mine who I was playing with didnt get any boxes at all and he fought two of the knights

Same here. I am on the Sea of Sorrows server. I have fought and beat (at Gold event participation level) 3 of the Legendary Assault Knights and only one of the three dropped any loot at all. Thought that it must be a character issue.

Switched to a different character. Again went and killed all three Legendary Assault Knights (Gold event participation level). This time, none of them dropped anything. So far I’m at 1 for 6 when it comes to Assault Knight loot.

Lame, Anet. Very lame.

Yup, since the patch update, have killed 6 knights with no loot.

Same problem, no loot for one hour killing boss. if this game force player to group ( 5 ) together, it will be sucks

Update, 9 legendary boss kills…no loot.

Update…10, 11 & 12 all gave chests this time.

I got 3 times in a row now and then none 3 times in a row… doing the same thing and never getting downed…

I think everybody would know that this is normal. When the server is nearly completely full and u fight bosses in a zerg u might not get any loot. It’s a server sided problem.

Same. First run after patch: got loot from red and blue but nothing from green. The second run, nothing from red and green but one from blue. So that’s 3/6.

I’m running a zerker greatsword warrior, putting in at least 2 mintues of constant dps. That should be enough to get me credit. (And I was in a party!)

One time per day per server (I’ve verified this multiple times. I got 3 first run on main, none 2nd time on main, switched to overflow and got more)

I am tired of not getting anything. And the bugs. Got loot the first night nothing since. And, you complain in world chat and they accuse you of being a slacker. Also, couldn’t get into scarlet. I am not playing for the next few days maybe until the event is over. It is frustrating.

So I may as well only go once a day and save myself the frustration.

I’m having the same problem. Sometime I got drops, sometimes I get nothing.

I do pretty heavy DPS, too.

Unfortunately I doubt we will get any sort of reply here of any use, it’s their forte to ignore such things.

I am having this issue as well. None of the legendaries gave me loot last night, which was very much a bummer.

Perhaps it will be better this evening.

having trouble with not getting any loot at all from killing the knights.. i have been trying all day/night long and never got any loot at all whats the deal ?
and i have tried on 4 different accounts and none of them got any loot from the knights

Same situation. I did ten assault knight events and only got loot one time. I’ve given up on it until this issue is addressed.

I got loot the first three knight kills, and was in a group. The second time I killed the three knights I was 0/3 and was not in a group. This was all last night. This morning I got 1/2 loot and was in a group.

I fought and killed 4 knights last night. The first dropped loot though we failed to kill all, but the next run through we killed all of the knights, I was there and participating from the time the first knight became hostile, saw lots of damage numbers, got no loot from any of the three. I was in a party of 2 and in what I assume to be different overflows for each of the events.

I’m getting loot less that 1/3 of the time from knights. Trying to get cores for a BP is impossible at this rate. Playing 2 hrs a night you get the possibility of 6 knights a day. I’ve been lucky to get 4 knights with one drop. Only time I got a drop I was solo. Right now I’m feeling pretty stupid for farming blades.

I have the same problem, killed 5 of them and not a single tiny part of loot.
For start I had to wait hours to get some party going and now, constantly no loot at all.
Edit : Haven’t played in a while, came back for Living World, in 4h got 0 loot -.-

Same here. Ran them a few times for the “challenge” part, but I’m not wasting time on any of it now if there’s no reward.

And let’s face it, Anet loves anything that involves not giving loot. They won’t fix this.

Only managed to hit blue, green, and red assault knights once each last night. I got loot from the first knight (blue), but the next two bosses dropped nada. And I got gold in the events, so I must have done something right…? I’ll probably try again after a few patches because I think the “skipping with a backpiece” is a cop out, but if this is working as intended I don’t know why I’d bother in the future.

I was just accepting it was once per day per character/account, except everyone in map chat was saying they got loot every time. It does seem like too much loot to give repeatedly, but if you’re going to have a limit on one player, you should have the limit on all players!

Same thing is happening to me, my character is a mix of Zerker armour with Cleric trinkets. Doing plenty of damage but it’s not giving me any loot.

Pls fix it’s no fun!

Last night, 3 dropped loot out of 10 Knights (the 3 that dropped were the first 3, and were done solo. The last 7 were grouped)

Today 5 out of 8 dropped loot – all solo – none in Oflow. Out of 18 Knights killed, I have gotten ONE! power core. Random is fine, this however is abysmal!

Anet sure is working hard to keep these threads off the General Discussion forum where most users will see them.

agreed there is something wrong the most I have had out of 3 bosses so far is one boss that I can loot. I’ve done this 4 times now so I am a little annoyed.

well… I hope that’s their way of indirectly saying it’s a bug and not a feature to know about and discuss.

Did all three, got nothing for it. Before the patch I had no issues.

This needs to be hotfixed and fast. There really is no excuse.

Done the event yesterday on my Necro and today on my ranger and zero loot. And my ranger had a real good amount of uptime so I was pretty near to dps’ing the whole time and no loot at all.

Fought the 3 knights last night. No loot from any of them. Definitely a bug and not any sort of “once per day” limitation, considering it was the first time I’d actually fought any of them period.

Full zerker guardian, only got loot twice. The other times no loot from the Knights.

So Lame.

I noticed the patch notes say, “Defeating the three assault knights simultaneously is the key to reaching Scarlet’s airship”, and it occurred to me that when the OF I was in killed the knights, it was NOT simultaneously. We did it zerg style, as voted by the OF population. Apparently, no one read the notes….

Those notes are to encourage people to do the “Six minutes till knightfall” achievement. You cannot get it done zerging as scale kills any chance of that.

I just wanted to add that this definitely feels like the issue that was fixed a few months back where certain accounts (Unlucky as they were) simply could not get world boss loot. No matter how much damage and tagging they did.

A friend of mine experienced this issue till they fixed it. It certainly has the hallmarks of that issue having returned.

Getting Gold for event participation, but no loot either.

Hopefully they get this fixed.

The only thing that SHOULD matter is defeating them all within 6 minutes for the achievement. Fairly obviously, defeating them should award SOMETHING, yet in many cases it is not.

Exactly. The bolded part does not happen, or happens inconsistently. We software developers tend to call those bugs.

You may be a “software developer” but you are no where near the level of the highly skilled developers and testers that ANet has employed…..

ANet calls such things “features”….

I am waitingon the “word checker” that replaces dirty words with kitten to start replacing “bug” with “feature”….

This afternoon I have been getting the Deluxe Gear Boxes for every boss defeated so it appears to be working at least on IoJ.
