Guild Wars 2

Few years ago I bought several outfits. Used real currency to obtain them. I haven’t played for a pretty good amount of time and maybe that’s it. But all my characters who had them equip had them on but when I log into them all of it is missing. Found them in the outfit tab but they are locked and It would seem I have to buy them again. . . Is this a bug or did the developers decide to just take paid cosmetics back for repurchase? Sort of a buzz kill since my recent return. Been enjoying the game but this “bug” is sort of a mood kill. I wouldn’t be posting if it was something free but I paid for it.

Has this happen to any one else?

with the character(s) that last had the outfit, find the Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith) – they’re usually near the Black Lion NPCs. when you talk to them go through the town clothing option (What are town clothes? >> So what do you do with town clothes? >> I’d like to exchange my old town clothes. >> I’m ready. Upgrade all my town clothes.). this will give you an item in your bag that you can click to add to the wardrobe, or a tonic, depending on the outfit.

The outfit is the Witch and Mad King outfits. I purchase them several years ago. But they are locked in the outfit tab.

You should find an item in your inventory to consume (double-click) and unlock the Outfits, after speaking to the NPC.
