Guild Wars 2

Today I bought my second ascended accessory another gargoyle skull thinking that I could use both but for some reason I can’t and I am quite confused on this because no where that I have seen does it say in-game that I cannot use 2 of the same ascended items. Please help.
P.S wanting a laurel refund.

Its not a bug, all ASC gear has “unique” written on it, meaning you can only equip one of those items at once. Unfortunetly its not very clear so Im not sure how people are supposed to know that.
If you want to equip both, you have to infuse just 1 of them. If you infuse both though you’ll be stuck in the same situation again and only able to equip one.

Only ascended rings and fractal capacitor back piece can be infused.

I can save you the time and tell you they won’t refund your laurels due to a user-error.
If you haven’t used both of them on your necro, you might be able to transfer it over to another character (TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON) through your bank.

I am on engi and i used both. (used an infusion upgrade on one before finding out it doesn’t work and now i am sitting 45 laurels and 50 ectos shorter than i was 6 hours ago.

lol I overlooked your skillbar, only looked at the item and for the obvious reason assumed it was a necro.
There are 2 different types of infusions tho, what the other guy meant is infusion the item itself (Adding a the suffix “(Infused)” to the item name and granting the item +5 Agony resistance, this allows you to use an identical not-infused item at the same time).
Sadly there is no way to infuse accessories to this extend, best thing to do with it is stakitten in your bank, and hope for a miracle update in the future

You can contact support and they might refund you with another ring.
They already did that in several cases where the player bought two same ascended rings.
