I am not sure if this is a bug or intended
A friend and I were going for the numc achieve. And about halfway through the two NPCs we were supposed to protect either disappeared or got stuck. – in any case, they were no longer with us, making this achieve pretty easy. If this is how it is supposed to be, that’ s fine, but it seemed a bit odd so I thought I would post, just in case.
