Cannot access Scholar Breadan for Treasure Hunter Collection as – Clear Broken Spit of the Risen sea creatures replicating themselves – is broken.

Cannot target replicator’s.

Please note this is the second day I have been unable to complete the event and or access the NPC.

Tried again today – still bugged.

Tired again today Tuesday 9th June – Still Bugged.

Cannot target these replicators

From support with regard to this bugged event…

“Issues like the one you reported often are complex to resolve, and the time it takes to fix them can vary widely based on the severity and complexity of each issue. Because of this we are unable to provide a timeframe in which the issue might be resolved.”

This event has been bugged for over 2 years. The below is from another bug post.

Dynamic Event: Clear Broken Spit of Risen
Objective Text: Risen Replicators 0/6 Risen Remaining: 26
Date 9/16/2012, 12:43 EST
Server: Darkhaven

Notes: The Risen replicators (I assume they’re the half buried zombie fish?) are un-targetable.

Tried, again, to do this today.

I can’t even find the Replicators!

Here’s to hoping the Devs find a fix for it. =)

So sorry to hear this is a seemingly unending problem and very disheartened that Anet are not fixing it.

Getting round the bug – possible solution

I was contacted in game by another player (I will not name names as I do not have their permission to do so) who read this post and offered a solution/work around.
He/she discovered that jagged horrors can damage the fished headed replicators and he/she was able to complete the event.
Please note he/she said it took some time to do so but it would appear necro summoned bone minions are the way to get round this bug.

Please let me know if this works for you, I will be heading over today and trying it out myself.

Best idea is two or more players as the damage ticks at around 29 per second. I completed it with Miss Bossy Boots today- Many thanks to her too.
