Happening on range builds,obviously..Some classes/weapons seem to be more afffected than others.Normally i run double melee builds on my warr,got bored of it lately so i picked up rifle some time ago..and man the random obstructs going on is really getting on my nerves,espec when it’s happening on a Burst skill whereafter i will lose all my adren because of That random obstruct,something that isn’t my fault is making me miss my burst + losing all my adren and needing to rebuild it again.

And no it’s not like im trying to fight someone that somewhere high up a slope..It’s happening on even terrain where the slightest difference in height makes my shots getting obstruct.

I’m ok with losing a fight because i mess up myself
Im not ok with losing a fight where most of my hits are getting obstructed or simply not hitting at all because of a fault in the game.

Is this fixable ? are there technical limitations that’s holding you from fixing it ?

It is strange, I did some tests in sPvP as well and noticed alot of obstruction for no reason too. We both stood at opposite ends of Foefire mid point and show arrows and strafed back and forth (normally would just dodge the arrows)

But 60% of the time it would actually show “Obstructed” which is strange.

I concur! I’ve experienced this pain the kitten situation often times on the Borderland WvW maps, particularly at the SW and SE camps. I main a ranger and it’s been a problem… forever. With that said, I have seen some improvements here and there, but it’s still an issue for sure and need more attention.

I need more concurs than that….Come on,2 people and myself that get annoyed by the obstructs..That’s it ?

Even with a simple skill as ranger axe 1 I get this. And there does not seem to be anything in the way.

Got this just yesterday in borderlands NW camp, and thought it was somehow my fault. It’s a relief to see that it wasn’t. Though it was rather annoying to get nailed so badly by the camp supervisor because her hits were getting through to me.

I often get message of target obstructed in wvw when fighting guards and scouts in supply camps when there is nothing at all in my way. I usually play a ranger in wvw and use a bow most of the time.

Ive had this happen on any class with a ranged weapon, hell recently ive started to have this happen on my guardians number 2 sword skill. Not just in PVP or WVW either, but in dungeons and PVE where it wasnt happening before hand.
