This may be hard to explain as it is kinda unusual. I haven’t tested this on any other classes but my ranger. Ive been noticing this since the last main update.

When attacking inanimate objects, such as mines, guns, turrets, gates etc, it seems i cannot finish them off, or at least the red HP bar indicates they’re not destroyed, yet i cannot attack them any more as if they ARE destroyed.

It seems, the damage my pet is dealing to an object does not register correctly on the red HP bar of an object, ie: reducing the HP.

If you look at the attached shot, you can clearly see the mine looks still alive, yet my ranger could not attack it any more. You can also see that my pet is in the process of using spit poison and that poison it seems will destroy the mine. So the game is actually stopping my attack b4 my pet has even hit the mine, pre-empting it’s damage.

It happens all the time. Not just with a ranger and a pet.

When I explode my engineer turrets they behave similar to this. It’s happening with and without new Level of Detail option turned on.

It has been reported for several weeks now, but ArenaNet has not responded to the issue and it doesn’t look like there is a fix planned for it any time soon.
