Guild Wars 2

Now this is no major game breaking bug, but it’s a bit of an annoyance for me that is just lingering around and I cant’ figure how to get rid of.

When I’m looking at an enemy’s health pane, and looking at what the game tells me to look out for in their abilities, there is a strange text error. This error also shows up in characters names in my friends list when the friend’s name is too long for the window length I set. The pictures will show exactly what I mean.

I’ve reinstalled GW2 so I don’t think that’s it. Hopefully someone can give me a hand.

Actually I’d really like to hear the response to this as well, as I’ve been having the same problem though it happened after I re-installed with the game disc once I received it.

The problem a couple people seem to think is with the “Large” text size in your interface options. I’ve confirmed it works on Small and Normal for me, and it seems Larger is OK as well… but though I’m blind, I don’t need my text quite that large.

Hopefully this gets fixed.

I am having the same trouble….as mentioned above, it’s not a serious issue…but just a tad irksome. My trouble just started a few days ago….seemingly out of the blue.

Had this from beta onwards..cleared up a few patches ago….hope it’s not coming back. Was a small annoyance that kept getting bigger….

This is happening to me now, not sure since when;I just started using large. I switched to large interface, and punctuation or special characters appear as a variety of accented vowels. It’s like the large interface is using a different character set than the other three sizes.
