Guild Wars 2

This doesn’t affect my game-play but I find it a bit worrisome nonetheless. After the most recent update; the “Guild Wars 2 has crashed, please send us info on what occurred” window will pop up for a brief moment after I exit. It’s a bit inconsistent but it appears to happen most often when hitting Esc and clicking “exit to desktop”.

If the window stayed around long enough to use, I would send it off saying that nothing appears to be wrong but it’s always gone just as fast as it appears. :/

I have the same problem. I would recommend to have a look at the logfiles the game produces. Just because you don’t notice any problems while playing, it doesn’t mean everything was OK in the background.

I get this window mainly, when before that I experienced the skill bug (skills not working until I take fall dmg, get stunned, zone in/out or relog). But in my case this bug also often results in disconnects. Those however are not caused by the internet connection itself – I can still move around while the skills are not working, people around me are also still walking around and casting skills normally, I can use the chat etc. (apart from that I’m monitoring my internet connectivity so I can tell that it isn’t the cause).

Maybe you have the same problem and had such a disconnect some hours ago – and then when finally closing your game, the window pops up indicating that there was a problem and disappears again due to the game process being stopped…?

I know that’s very theoretical, one can only assume…

Same “problem”, crash report screen flashes up when I exit the game and disappears immediately. It’s pretty much there every time I exit now, even when in game I haven’t any problems whatsoever.

I’ve played WvW (on Eternal Battlegrounds) before this happened and exited (ALT+F4) while I was dead.

To find the crash log go to the folder (might be hidden):
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\

Ah, thanks for that filepath. I wouldn’t have looked in Roaming.
I’ll try minimizing before quitting a game session next time. Perhaps I can catch the crash window with its pants down.
