So, like many others, I didn’t receive the free Dragon Bash mini-pack email. For the first 2 or 3 hours of the event, i didn’t even know people were getting them till a guildie told me and i read about it in the Dulfy guide. I submitted a bug report. I’ve checked on the forums here and while i see others say they haven’t gotten them in other threads, there is no separate thread about this bug. The only response i saw from a Dev in regards to this was that “mails are being sent out in waves so the server doesn’t crash”. I would think that it wouldn’t take this long to complete the “waves”. I’d rather get a response sooner than later that we will get them soon.

Now, before i get responses about “troubleshooting” my problem:
1) I have spent real world money on gems (like within 5 minutes of the official launch to buy 3 more toon slots)

2) I didn’t receive my minis and then accidentally deposited them into storage, i checked

3) My mailbox is not full. I was able to receive the default Capt. Logan mail about the event and then receive my Moa racing winning mails. I was also able to receive mail from BLTP from when I “purchased” Polla for 0 gems.

4) I have eight toons. I checked the inventory of each one and also checked my inbox from each toon

A bug worthy note: I did notice that when i logged on after the patch, that my “Recent Purchase” history was cleared out and blank on the Gem Store tab. Then after a patch a few hours later, the History was restored.

I also know that currently that the ability to forge the 4 holo minis into the Colossus mini is disabled until they first a bug. I don’t know if they disabled the “waves” of mails because of this also…..

So, who else hasn’t received them?

I did not recieve the gift despite buying gems just before the release (when you bought gems during last beta weekend, they would be handed out when the game lunches). Don’t want to make drama out of it, maybe newer purchases are rewarded with the gift. However, i would like to know am i entitled to get them and i am witnessing a bug or I just don’t deserve it.

I will wait a couple more days and then submit a support ticket, because i don’t think that any dev will answer our questions.

there’s lots of people on Reddit saying they are getting the free minis even though they never purchased gems with real money, ever.

I didn’t get my pack either. I sent a ticket last night, and the reply was not so helpful and didn’t fix it. Sending another ticket.

When you say you “Submitted a ticket”, did you use the ingame support to “Report a Bug” or did you goto https://en.support.guildwars2.com and Submit a question?

I used the ingame Report a Bug tool about 36 hours ago and have heard nothing from anyone about this issue.

I submitted a question from their support page. I’m glad the reply came less than 5 hours later, but it didn’t help/fix anything. If you used a Bug Report from in-game you will not get any reply.

I haven’t yet receive my minis neither, and I’ve also bought gems in the past.
I hope we can get an official response…

I haven’t received mine either. I bought gems on June 9th. I assume (as do others), given the wording of the message that was sent to users that June 9th is included. If not, they should of used different wording. I just submitted a bug in game, and I am going to submit a question as well.

I don’t know if anyone has responded to this yet and I’m not reading every single comment to check. But basically, they are sending out in waves so no server crashes is exactly the smart thing to do.
I’m not sure if you are aware the amount of players there are on GW2. If they were going to send them all out at once there would be serious lag disconnects and crashes. Have patience and that’s for everyone. Some of theses things take time. If you haven’t received anything within a week then let anet know.

If you didn’t get them buy now, you won’t. Chances are you bought gems before August 28th 2012 and that doesn’t count as being loyal.

So, if you don’t know, people who purchased gems in the past get free minis. If you purchased gems with money and DIDN’T get the free minis by now, guess what… you’re not getting them. Even though people who never bought gems are getting the free minis.

Why aren’t some of us getting the free minis that everyone else is getting despite buying gems with real money in the past? Because you didn’t by them between August 28th 2012 and June 9th 2013. So, if you are like me and bought 2400 gems before August 28th during the Head Start time, you aren’t “loyal” enough. Apparently the $30 i spent on top of the $80 i spent for the deluxe edition isn’t being as loyal as buying the regular edition for $30 and then $10 worth of gems a month ago.

It’s unacceptable that “Head Start” gem purchases aren’t taken into account in the fact that people bought gems before June 9th to be eligible for a free promotion. Please make your voices heard on this thread to make sure it is noticed and people are aware and unhappy about this.

Please, do not bother posting if you just want to point out that 500 gems is currently only worth 16.5g and thats what we are missing out on. Thats besides the point.
