Guild Wars 2

Though I’m very thankful that the GW2 development team is fixing many many game bugs, I must say there are occasions that mistakes can make things a lot more fun. And this is one of them.

I found it hard to find good looking light armor for my Asura, but I was overjoyed to come across this “dry bone” set, especially the helm, back when I was level 30 or so. I wore it for the majority of time on my road to 80, and even now I transmute high lvl stats to this set just to stay in this look. I’ve been happily running around like a little witch doctor. Until today’s patch.

They brutally cut my ears!

Maybe it’s a bug that our Asura ears are hanging out of the hood, but they look great!

Now my head looks like lonely peanut.

Anyone else prefers keeping our ears outside? I would really really hope they change it back. Please?

Wow. That looks really, really bad.

The ears are an extremely important part of the Asuras’ distinctive silhouette. Cutting them off breaks all tenets of good character design. I can only imagine (and hope) that’s a bug.

Look at the bright side, no more staff clipping with your left ear
