As the title says, I opened Oola’s lab today in Metrica Province, and while I was killing the guardian golemns there, I got points for the WvW Season 1 Achievement “Guard Slayer”.

It seems any enemy with a name containing “guard” will work.
Has anyone checked if the guardian illusions at the lyssa temple event counts?

The ministry guards in the lv10 human personal story counts but that is not new. It’s been like that for a long time.
