Guild Wars 2

Like most of the people here I’m pretty sure we payed for a finished product when Guild Wars 2 launched (I’m stretching here because we all know nothing here is even close to finished). Of course there might be some mishaps because the game is changing and you constantly add stuff which we are grateful for (yey expansion!)… but…

CAN YOU FOR CRYING OUT LOUD TO BABY JESUS BETA TEST STUFF BEFORE YOU SHIP THE PATCH?!

I, like many other people, didn’t buy this game to beta test it after you think of an another awesome idea on how to “improve” the game while breaking 50% of the content we already have.

Someone might say “Hey dude, chill out, report the bug, i’m sure they will fix it!”. Well I’ll be kitten ed, why didn’t I think of that before… Oh I know! BECAUSE YOU BROKE IT.

I didn’t buy this game to be a beta testing guinea pig nor I’m paid to do so. So kindly get you kittens together there at the office please.

But since I’m a nice guy I’ll point you in the right direction to some of the broken things in the game as of now:

-Character Voices
-Triple Trouble Wurm
-Guilds (chat and building stuff)
-Tequatl

I still have to get into the game experience these “awesome” features and FPS drops.

After 22h long download and black screen after hitting play, now i’m stuck at initializing entire day.

Nice letter. Could stand to have a little more hyperbole, though. It’s not quite at 100% yet.

Maybe I can help you get a grip on reality. You paid for a product that is repeatedly changing. If you expect it to never be broken, you’re a fool. The fact that they’ve gone this long without such a disastrous slew of bugs is pretty impressive, but all you care about is that you can’t play ONE video game right now. I assume, then, you don’t have anything else to do with your life, since you are so distraught over these bugs. Maybe you should try going outside? I’ve heard it can be quite relaxing.

I wouldn’t really complain about characters talking randomly and enemies losing their textures IF ONLY the game would actually launch. Since the update of doom that all I get is the background music playing and my computer freezing every single time. The supposed fix patch fixed absolutely nothing. Any day now, ANet.
