Option to adjust camera height
+1
I requested the same thing in one of the BWE.
I would like to be able to adjust this too.
I noticed the camera height doesn’t change with character height. You can see what I mean by making a tall asura and/or a short norn. Although asuras are short, your tall asura will fill a significant portion of your screen. Although norns are tall, your short norn will only have its shoulders and head on screen. (Obviously zooming the camera all the way out allows you to see both more of your character and more of the world around it. I don’t like to play zoomed out all the way though.)
Allowing us to move the camera position higher or lower to our liking would solve all these things. There is a slider to move from side to side now, so I assume you could just add another slider for higher and lower.
Thanks for hearing us out!
+1, the camera height is the only thing I really can’t accept in the game, I have to move the camera continuously in combat to see the target and where I’m moving cause half of the screen is useless ground.
In WvWvW when attacking keeps it’s really hard to target the top of the walls, especially cause the target itself appears in the middle of the targeting area and is clickable. So I basically have the 2 corners in the top part of the screen to target, and that leaves no way to check the surroundings.
Coming off of 180 hours of Batman Arkham City, I can say that this camera is horrible. I’m always staring at the ground, it’s always Jittering around, and I fight it all the time to see the world.
It feels very claustrophobic.
I would also like to add that our zoom levels be saved too, its very annoying to have those reset every time we relog, even every time we change maps, my previous zoom level goes back to default every time v_v

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they fix this issue… the camera location is AWFUL… i get headaches and really bad neckaches looking at things where they have the camera.. it’s WAY TO LOW TO THE GROUND… like the poster said, not the angle of the view from the camera, but the camera itself needs to be higher… and why is there a slider to go left or right which is pointless? why not up or down…. well, down is definitely not needed, but UP most certainly is. It’s painful to look at in it’s current position. I really hope enough people comment that this is changed, because it really is that terrible!
