I completed the Vigil Collection track that gives you an ascended trinket as a reward, however I don’t need the trinket. I tried to salvage it but it comes up as unsalvageable.
Not sure if this was intended, I hope it was just an oversight, considering the cost of completing the collection.
I haven’t finished the Whisper’s/Priory collections so I don’t know if those have the same issue.
(and yes, I used the proper ascended salvage tool)
