I picked up one of the new Orrian Jewelry Boxes this evening and only saw the items that it contained but was unable to identify how much karma a drop of liquid karma provided.

What I noticed when I checked the listing in my chat panel was the following:
3 Unidentified object worth 1s 50c
1 drop of liquid karma

Is there a problem with this? I was under the impression that a drop = 400 karma. But did not see that much increase in my karma pool in my inventory.

Hehe, yes, it’s rubbish. Literally. Those “Unidentifiable Objects” are just junk. They go when you click the Sell Junk button. In a “Lost Orrian Jewelry Box”, title color ORANGE (implying there’s some orange jewelry in there), costing 4550 karma, I got 2 of those junk items, and 1 Taste of Liquid karma (which gives 1700 karma).

Just another grind that “doesn’t exist in this game”. Pity.

So it is now another lottery….darned, I was hoping not. And an expensive one at that.

Yes, I noticed that it was an orange title in the vendor window, which I thought indicated something rare at least. Perhaps the color needs to be changed? Perhaps make the title the same color as the karma that it contains? Purple?

At least now I know not to purchase any more of these. I used most of my karma for gear on two of my characters and do not have a lot to spare for gambles.

These new Orrian boxes also obsidian shards and lodestones, I bought 30 and got 3 charged lodestones and 2 onyx lodestones. Yes it’s a gamble but they do contain good things.

I bought 5 and i’ve got the mini-pet of balthazar or somthing, rlly lucky

Over all 6 of my characters I bought a total of over 200+. I’ve gotten multiple lodestones, TONS of karma potions, about 8 mini-pets, Frost Potion(not sure what that does yet), about 50 Obsidian shards, almost 1250 of those grey items that sell to vendor for good amount of coin.

Gamble yes, but if you’re not using the karma for anything, why not?

I don’t know if it’s me who is very unlucky, but i’ve opened several boxes and i didn’t receive anything else than those unidentifiable objects. I’ve had some of the karma items, but i used these to buy some more boxes ( a total of 18).

I have now 40 of those unidentifiable objects, all gifts bought from Lightbringer Ives. So well, it’s gamble and i expected it, but when i’m looking at the list on wiki, i’m quite wondering if i’m the only one so unlucky…

It’s a numbers game. But plenty and you’ll get what you want. Return on your investment isn’t bad considering you can sell lodestones, you get most of your Karma back, the grey items sell for decent amounts

There’s chances of lodestones and a unique minipet, lots of Karma bottles that can be used to “transfer” karma to your other characters in a way, and of course even a little bit of silver helps.

If you want to use karma bottles, make sure you have lots of them and use karma booster (if you have 1). Finally Good way to use boosters.
