Exact same problem here. Very frustrating that I can’t finish the personal story.

Exact same thing. Along with this bug, the fact that I keep getting bugged in Straits of Desolation, Malchor’s Leap, and Diessa Plateau is making this game somewhat hard to play. It would be nice if we received a response a little more significant than “yeah we know”.

So moments ago I saw that little update/patch had been installed, I was hoping that it included a fix for this problem, but apparently I had my hopes way too high because not one single thing changed. And here we go again of another day stuck in this games progress.

It just doesnt work, except im always getting a golden chest within 2min.

Todays patch didnt fix anthing. Already tried.
No response to my ticket either.

i need to start a new toon again. well i can’t delete this toon until i finish the story. hahaha… the needful things that we all need. btw gw2 is still the best even if ossuary of unquiet dead is not working.

ditto, the patch wasn’t for this issue.

I have the same problem. Finally after months I am in the mood to finish the personal story and now I’m hindered because of this silly bug :(

Keep trying this hoping its fixed or by some miraculous thing i can continue on but like the rest of the people here story stuck on first platform

I am also having the same issue.

I found a couple bugs with this after trying to get the mission to work twice. The first problem was going up the initial ramp, we were fighting some corruptors and alike and the game seemed to forget that I was a lvl 80 ranger in full Berserker exotic gear with full scholar runes on and had my longbow doing only 20-30 damage against enemies that it would normally be doing 1400-3000 dmg against. There was no status effect icon to justify my damage being reduced for any reason.

The second issue was that the mission broke after the first platform, Trahearne would not follow you after he did the first ritual and the queue for the next one did not show up. I went to the next 2 platforms and Trahearne would just teleport there after all the enemies were killed and not follow you after that. The mission really breaks when you are supposed to go back to the center platform and he won’t follow you or even teleport there to do his thing. The mission is completely broken for whatever reason.

Don’t get me wrong, I am still a lvl 80 on this character, and I can still do other things including the living story, but I would like to get the main story out of the way for all my characters at some point.

Been trying to complete the personal story to start season 2 and this has also happened. Trahearne freezes at the second alter and the dialogue goes to return to Fort Trinity. Defeated all platforms, but Center platform nothing happens. Tried it 5 times now and with different people. Hope it gets fixed soon. Can’t wait to continue the story.

Throwing in my name on this issue as well. Trahearne will not continue after the first platform. You can force it by going to the other platforms but nothing progresses after the third one. His dialog states to meet him back at Fort Trinity that the ossuary will not longer create any more abominations.

I really want to finish the story can we get an update please?

I’m getting issues with the quest too, same as everyone else Trahearne will not proceed properly since the second platform, giving the text I suppose is for the quest’s end.
I kinda really want to finish my personal story so I can check the living world content, it’d be awesome that this problem would get fixed soon.

Did it with a friend and we had the same problem! No matter if he started that mission or me…

Same issue. After second platform, Trahearne doesn’t move, and quest stops. Tried going to other platforms to force the issue, but to no avail. Also, the quest bugged out on me after the first central platform fight/ghost scene. I had to walk down the ramp before the quest would update.

Same problem this afternoon. Reset and replayed the mission every way I could think of without any luck >< At least it wasn’t a total waste with the couple of rares I was getting from the bags off the priests :|

I guess I’m glad I’m not the only one having this issue, although it is frustrating.

I agree. Or at least, give us the option to go back and choose the other option which is apparently bug-free (attacking a ship, I think?)

Problems here as well. Cannot complete “Ossuary of Unquiet Dead”.

I can complete first(center) and second platforms with Trahearne, but then he stops. No new quests points (green stars) appear.

I can continue to the next two platforms, defeat the enemies, and then Trahearne catches up, casts the spell, says his dialogue. But no advancement of the personal story markers. Returning to the center all I see are Risen birds that I kill but then nothing happens.

I am also stuck here. Very annoying. I came back to the game after a very, very long hiatus hoping bugs would be gone. I was impressed until now. Please fix this as soon as you possibly can.

Working on my third run through the personal story, and just made the mistake of choosing this option over the other one. Oops, now I’m stuck.

Would indeed be nice being able to change course in case of a bug. I would rather play another storyline than this frustrating waiting for a fix.. :-(

Hello. Have a problem with this quest. 5 times passed quest .. Failure. Looked at Wikipedia … Shown NPC dialogues … On each platform npc says 4 phrases and switches phase quest… In fact he says only 3 phrases … NPc 4 phrase does not say, and so there is no switching phase of the quest …

I just don’t understand why they don’t give this higher priority as more and more people are stuck in their game…. Maybe they want to wait till their september release? Omg…

The Npc who is carrying the dead body wont go from first alter to the second alter.
