Unfortunately, I seem to have the same problem

I have the same issue, still not fixed

Yesterday i founf out that i have the same problems as you guys.
Trahearne stays on the second platform and says that we are finished.
But we are not finished and i want to finish that quest, plz , fix that problem Arena

I’m having the exact same problem. I have about three people helping me and I can’t get the quest to advance at all. I’m frustrated and I want to continue with my story!

I too cannot proceed past the first stage of the ritual. Trahearne speaks the ending dialouge, no marker for the second objective pops up, and it simply ceases to continue the mission.
Tried three times, no resolution to the issue. So this kinda blows.

Sadly got this as well. Everything stops after second altar as mentioned above. Restarting didn’t help at all.

Well, I guess that goes for adding up some more hate towards Trahearne

I saw a note from the moderator a couple days ago that says this is being worked on. Looks like it was a fairly new development if players are just seeing it now, I’ll just go replay some of the Drytop and Dragon’s reach material

I thought I was the only one until I found this. I’ve done the story 6 times now with no luck. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon because I’ve been trying to complete it for days.

same problem here, anet really should add way to change story choices since progression blocking stuff will inevitably become bugged like his.

Might as well add to the thread! Experiencing the same problem… Hope this gets fixed soon; I’d like to finish my story line!

4 days is a bit too long to leave people waiting!

I’m having the same issues. I even sent a ticket regarding this matter yesterday morning
(Sat 8/23/14 12:07 PM – 855039:Can’t Complete Story Line – Ossuary of Unquiet Dead) and still anticipating for a reply or solution… I’ve made another attempt this morning around 8:30 AM and took some pictures to help assist this matter…

I’m having the same problem. Have tried it 3 different times and Trahearne gets stuck at the last of the 3 side temples. He tells me to meet him at Fort Trinity.

4th time trying this quest. clear all 3 platforms run back to center kill birds then nothing. Trhearne wont show up to complete the quest

I just did this quest and repeated it about 3 times. The results are the same as everyone else. This is very frustrating as I have nothing left to do. I just finished map completion bar 2 POIs and Vistas in WvW which is out of my control and killed every boss for the day. Now I can’t finish my own personal story because of a bug? This is just an overall frustrating experience.

I missed this thread and had filed a bug report back on the 21st after doing the quest three times (like you) and then spending a bunch of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I want my three hours back.!

It’d be nice if we could choose the other mission option instead…

Yeah I’ve got the same bug. Funny thing is, I went to do the living story on a new character and now that’s bugged too. mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

edit: got through the living story one. I guess I won’t be able to do the personal story on this character until they fix the first but tho…

Doesn’t work for me either, I’ve tried it 7 times over the last week and nothing. I’ve been reporting the issue every day as well (via the in-game bug reporting). From what I’ve read these people aren’t even working on it either. We all PAID to play this game, and this is what we got, a glitchy pile of crap. I’m completely fed up, this kind of stuff simply should not be happening, period.

Same for me. Noticed the bug a few days ago, tried again today and still get stuck in the same spot.

How long is the game broken now, is it more then 1 week?

I also have the same issue with the center platform not working after clearing all three side areas.

According to ANET a fix is being made, see page 1.

Guys, I would suggest from my experience from GW1 and GW2, this wont be fixed until they release the next update, which could be a day or a week or more,

Cant say for sure, but that is how its happened in the past.

Prob best to find something else in the mean time.

This thing broke almost a week ago. C’mon Anet, fix it already!

I joined at beta, and now I finally have a good enough crew to push through to Zhaitan, and now you guys pull this one on me. This kind of bug cant wait for a regular update schedule, its a complete show stopper!

I don’t want to start a flame war, but seriously, this is one instance in the game that has gone wrong. There are dozens of other avenues to pursue either in different character combinations or the new world content.

And what none of can see is, no company has infinite coding resources. Fixing this means taking resources away from developing new content or addressing other bugs.

Relax. Try a different character. Explore the world a bit. Go read a book.
