When having helm unchecked, leaving water will result in suddenly visible helm as well as aqua-breather visible on land.

Well, its the wintersday outfit if that helps. helm is glint’s gaze (unchecked). The wintersday helm appearing underwater and staying visible upon leaving the water happens about 80% of the time. To make the hat disappear it is ness. to go into the hero panel/equipment and check then un-check helm…or just waypoint fixes it as well.The aqua-breather is sometimes not visible underwater, but when it is, it will stay visible upon leaving the water. Hope that helps.

I can say yes, I was having a stuck aqua breather at times too. Don’t recall what outfit I had on though it could in fact be the noble too. I changed my appearance a couple of weeks ago and don’t recall having it since.

Here you go, it did it to me again today. I had the Pirate outfit on without the helmet ticked for visibility. I died in the water and when I way pointed to land, it bugged. I had the helmet still un-ticked but, it was visible as well as the Aqua Breather. I then toggled the helmet and regained the non visible state. Though the aqua breather was persistent until I changed maps.

oh, I just realized that underwater, the pirate costume places the hat on the character and not the aqua breather. Then if I toggle the hat on and off again, the hat disappears and still no breather. Which is kinda awesome to be under water with no breather on. Please put a check box for aqua breather visibility

Could you give us any more information? I was not able to repro this. I tried unchecking the helm on land, going into the water, and coming out, and I tried unchecking the helm underwater and then coming out. Are there any consistent steps you can do to make this bug occur?

Try the following :
-uncheck helm
-go into water
-log out while you are under water
-login again
-leave the water

I think that was what i did when it happend to me wearing the Shadow Assassin Outfit on my Asura.
